What We Believe
We ground our theology (what we believe to be true about God) in the Wesleyan tradition. We wholeheartedly affirm the essentials of historic Christian teachings and we give grace and latitude in the non-essentials.
The Essentials
We believe that:
- The Bible is inspired by God and is the authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
- There is one God who exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- Jesus Christ is God; we affirm His virgin birth, sinless humanity, divine miracles, atoning death, bodily resurrection, and ascension. He continues to mediate for us and He will come again.
- Humanity is spiritually dead because of sin. Our only hope is the merits of Jesus’ death and resurrection. Salvation is a free gift of God, received by faith.
- The Holy Spirit empowers believers to live holy lives that positively affect ourselves and those around us.

Leadership
Community Life Church is overseen by the Central Canada District of the Wesleyan Church of Canada. Our leadership team consists of licensed pastors and a Board of Elders that provides spiritual and administrative oversight to the church.
